Delta Beach

Travellers crossing Manitoba via the Trans-Canada Highway may not realize just how close they are to a magnificent beach, as it seems like the sprawling farmland stretches beyond the horizon in each direction. However, just 25 kilometers directly north of the City, on the northern fringe of the Municipality, the southern shore of Lake Manitoba rolls in on Delta Beach. An intimate population of 200 live at the shore year-round and the beach is a popular destination for day trippers and campers as well. Newly constructed marina provides visitors with a safe and convenient launch point, allowing for exploration by land and water! With its newly refurbished camp sites and updated amenities 2018 is a great time to plan an overnight stay. Did you know, Lake Manitoba is one of Canada’s thirteen largest lakes and rates as the 33rd largest freshwater lake in the world? It’s worth a visit.
