William Glesby Centre
In the heart of Portage la Prairie, Heritage Square represents a hub of arts & culture as well as dining and night life that creates a buzz in our historic downtown. In addition to various display opportunities, this space is also home to a visual arts classroom, pottery studio, dance studio and gift shop where visitors can purchase the stunning work of many artists. Started in 2007 to create an awareness of hidden local talent, Prairie Ripples is a dynamic group of individuals who promote the arts by sharing their skills, techniques and enthusiasm for art. They host annual Studio Tours, a Fall Arts & Craft Sale, participate in Culture Days activities and support local causes like the Garden Tea Party for Palliative Care.
